He has made a name for himself in the field of
education, writing, comedy, and event management. At 27, he has already done a lot of
work, earned himself respect and reputation, while also contributing socially to the society.
Born in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Sagar did his studies from Symbiosis. He worked at SDJ
International College for 3 years.
He is a man with lots of talent, from being an educationalist to a social worker, from poetry to
comedy, from organizing college fests to nukkad nataks (street plays), he has done it all and
aced them too. He started his start-up “Clean Bald” along with Abhey Kumar. Clean Bald
started with organizing open mics (comedy) for the general public in around May 2017.
Before Clean Bald, there were fewer Open Mics in Surat spread on one in 3 or 6 months. So
as to cultivate and encourage comedy, Sagar and Abhey came up with the start-up. They
gained success from the first event itself and by the second event already had an offer for a
corporate show. Clean Bald has had a spectacular success graph with recently reaching 20
open-mics in less than a year.
Sagar has shared the stage with renown artists of comedy like Zakir Khan, Biswa, Kunal
Kamra and has performed in 7 full auditorium shows. Surat has seen a rising trend in artists
coming from all over, and Sagar has contributed remarkably to it.
Not just organizing , Sagar also has hosted innumerable shows. With all this, he is still
working socially and academically. Currently, he is working for RTE(Right to Education) to
help the underprivileged. He also runs his own institute named TWAD that teaches event
management, communication skills, and some other courses. He has done shows in other
cities of India like Pune, Bangalore, Silvassa, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mumbai etc.
He is an example of an entrepreneur who has worked for giving the stage to others rather
than working for individual benefit, gaining success on all fronts.
